The partnership of Geotech/Marcum is pleased to introduce the Geotech Engineering & Testing, Inc., and Marcum Engineering, LLC. Charitable Giving Committee. This committee is comprised of six employees of both Geotech and Marcum appointed by the partnership of both firms to serve as a facilitator of charitable works for the companies. Committee members are Russ Litsinger-Chair, Brad Vollmer-Vice Chair, Samantha Dennee-Secretary/Treasurer, Molly Eubanks, Michael Wooley and Keith Brown.
Back to School Supply Drive The Charitable giving committee kicked off its first ever “Back to School Supply Drive” this month. This worthwhileevent will enable the children of our communities start off the new school year with all of the necessary supplies needed to ensure a successful academic year. School supplies and monetary donations will be collected in each of our four office areas and distributed to area schools.
Redcross Blood Drive -Spring and Fall 2009 The employees of Geotech and Marcum participated in a companywide blood drive back in early Spring. The ice storm of 2009 and the resulting widespread power outages throughout the region severely affected Western Kentucky’s blood supply. The employees of Geotech and Marcum stepped up to the plate and surpassed the goal we set as a company in blood units donated. Family members of employees even donated and many of the employees that gave were first time blood donors. Geotech/Marcum has another blood drive scheduled in early Fall. We hope to make this drive even more successful than our Spring Drive. |
