Geotech Engineering & Testing has an immediate opening for a transportation engineer in our Marion, Illinois office. Candidate must have a BS degree in civil engineering and have the ability to obtain a professional engineers licensure.
Candidate must have a working knowledge of Microstation and a familiarity with Geopak is desirable. A Minimum of five years of experience in roadway design, preferably with Departments of Transportation and AASHTO standards is required.

Candidate should have experience in the following types of projects: Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental Assessments, NEPA Reports, Noise, Water, Socio-Economics and Ecological Studies, and Categorical Exclusions, Wetlands Delineation and Mitigation. Experience in providing these services for Departments of Transportation is necessary.
Geotech Engineering & Testing, Inc. is seeking a Bridge Designer for our Marion, IL location. Required candidate qualifications shall include 1+ years of experience in bridge design for seismic regions, Bachelors degree in engineering, and E.I.T. license. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in engineering and bridge design experience on projects for the Illinois Department of Transportation.
