Geotech Engineering & Testing, Inc. is providing the structural design for this 170,000 square foot expansion to the Murray Calloway County Hospital located in Murray, Kentucky.  The expansion includes the addition of two new four-story wings to the existing facility.  The additions are designed as reinforced concrete post and beam buildings on deep foundations. In addition, there is a sky bridge connecting the new building to a new elevator tower at the existing hospital.

The new expansion includes state-of-the art, modern facilities including a new emergency room, cath labs, surgery rooms, numerous doctor’s suites, ICU area, patient rooms, radiology area, CT scans and multiple waiting areas. This expansion is currently in the construction phase and the total project cost is $40 million.
