Geotech Engineering & Testing, Inc. provided the structural design services for this new 14,959 s.f. office/operations complex in Paducah, Kentucky.  This new facility is a two-story steel framed structure with a reinforced CMU core and composite steel beams.  Exterior walls are glassed curtain walls, and the building is constructed on shallow spread foundations.

A festoon system was also designed to handle electricity, fiber optics and cable service to incoming barges.

In addition to the structure, extensive site work was provided with controlled access parking, vegetation, fencing, lighting, and other landscaping amenities.  Entrances into the complex were designed to comply with state highway access requirements.

Also included in the work was the extensive restoration of an existing historic building to provide additional warehouse and office space.
