Geotech Engineering & Testing, Inc. provided the structural design, construction administration, and special inspections for the construction of this six story medical office building in Paducah, Kentucky.

The building consists of welded steel moment frame structure for six levels, plus a penthouse, and a four story connector to an existing building.  Non-destructive testing was used for welded connections of critical elements.  The foundation system consisted of shallow foundations and grade beams, while composite beam/floor slab construction was implemented for all levels above grade.  Also included in the design was an elevated pedestrian bridge connected to an adjacent parking garage.

All design was prepared in accordance with the Kentucky Building Code and associated seismic requirements for McCracken County, Kentucky.
