Geotech Engineering, LLC and our Joint Venture partners Lin Engineering, Ltd. were recently awarded a project from the Illinois Department of Transportation for PTB 147. The newly rewarded project consists of Phase I/Phase II for the improvement of approximately 11 miles of US 45 between IL 142 in Eldorado, Saline County to IL 141 in Gallatin/White Counties to a proposed four lane highway using Expressway Policy. This expansion will provide two travel lanes in each direction separated by an open ditch median and right and left turn lanes. This project will also require an Interchange Design Study and will be designed using Context Sensitive Solutions.
