Geotech Engineering/Marcum Engineering, LLC would like to welcome our newest staff members.

Steve Sholar:

Steve is a member of Geotech Engineering’s Murray civil design crew.  Steve received his associate degree in computer aided drafting from ITT Tech.  He has more than 12 years of experience in the civil field, specializing in site, subdivision and roadway layout/design, as well as, boundary and topographic surveys.  During his career Steve has been involved in various projects that include Wal-Mart designs throughout Florida, the I-440 ramp design in Nashville, TN, and various site and subdivision layouts in Paducah, KY.

Blake Emery
Blake has recently joined Geotech Engineering & Testing, Inc., assuming the role of civil engineer. Blake is originally from Harrisburg, Illinois, and has spent the past two years working in St. Louis Missouri before making the decision to relocate back to Southern Illinois. Blake earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Evansville, Indiana and he brings plenty of valuable experience to our staff. We are thrilled to have him board!

Bryan Atkins
Bryan is a recent graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and has joined Marcum Engineering as a full time staff engineer. Bryan is no stranger to Marcum, as he has spent the past several months on staff as a student intern. Bryan hails from Fancy Farm, Kentucky and in his free time likes to spend his time outdoors fishing or hunting. We are happy to be bringing Bryan on as a full time staff member. Welcome Bryan!
